The Lens Guru project grew from my personal frustration in locating a central place on the Web
to search for Progressive Addition Lenses. There is so much out there and each of us only knows
a fraction of the lenses available to us. Finding the information is time-consuming and frustrating.
And worse, much of the information out there is contradictory. A significant part of this project involved
checking and rechecking available information and sorting out what is correct.
This is a completely independent project. Although I have been priveleged to enjoy great cooperation from lens manufacturers, I am solely responsible for all of the content and specifications presented on this site. All specifications presented here are my best effort. I suggest you always check with your local lab for current product availability.
I am, as I'm sure you are, an Eye Care Practitioner. I have designed TheLensGuru.com to function in
a way that seems practical and easy to use to me. If you find it difficult to use or have any other
suggestions of how it could be better, I would really like to hear your ideas of how it could be
improved. Many people have written me with suggestions and information I may have missed. I answer
all email daily and am able to alter specs and design in a matter of hours.
